Blossom Years Children's Nurseries & Pre-Schools

Over the past few months at downham we have been thoroughly enjoying some visits from some rabbits, watching them grow from 1 week old to 12 weeks old. The children fed them with a bottle, held them, played with them, and we reluctantly said goodbye to them last week as they were going to new homes. As well as naming the rabbits we joined in all sorts of relevant activities. We read books about rabbits, made rabbit pictures and rabbit ears headbands, all in small groups. The children were intrigued watching them grow from visit to visit and asked many questions They wanted to know where they lived and what they ate and if they could jump !!
