Blossom Years Children's Nurseries & Pre-Schools

The children planted some cress and we have also been replanting our strawberry plants, learning about the different parts of the plant – roots, leaves and flowers and how to look after them. They helped to put new soil in the pots, make the holes and push the plants into the soil. Afterwards we all took turns in watering them and the rest of the flowers in the garden.
In September last year the children planted lots of daffodil bulbs and took one home in a pot to watch grow at home – they have now started to bring them in and they are looking lovely in our garden. We have been doing a lot of learning about plants and growing in the garden.
