Earth Day at Imperial

At Imperial, we celebrated Earth Day! The Baby room introduced the babies to recyclable materials and using them to junk model. They also joined in with messy play, exploring the coloured shaving foam and sea animals. The Toddler room planted their own cress in mini watering cans, using their fine motor skills to pinch the seeds and sprinkle them in the soil. They can’t wait to watch them grow!

The Preschoolers spent the day in Forest School taking part in a nature hunt, finding birds, bugs, leaves and flowers. They also used their fine motor skills to make their own Pom poms to look like Earth. They worked together to play some sunflower seeds in our growing areas!
