Blossom Years Children's Nurseries & Pre-Schools

At Imperial, we are aiming on becoming more Carbon Neutral for our planet. We are doing it step by step, starting in Forest School. It is very important to us that the children are involved in this and that they are gaining knowledge about looking after our planet.

In Forest School, the children have began making their own eco-bricks, which involve filling up plastic bottles with other plastic waste. You have to fill the bottle up so much so that it is solid, therefore making it into a brick, which we can then use in Forest School to construct something for the children. Our Forest School leader has also been teaching the children how to turn plastic bags into blankets and mats, which has been great to watch!
