Sensory Play at Valeswood

At Valeswood, we took part in sensory play, exploring shaving foam and having lots of fun! The children used their senses to explore the texture- talking about what it feels like and what it smells like. A child said “We can’t eat it!”.

Sensory play offers many benefits for a child’s development- supporting brain development, enhancing memory, promote exploration and creativity and problem solving.
